Hi – it took me about four weeks. I live in South Africa and I must say I am impressed with how quickly it got here. The longest it ever took was six weeks, and the quickest was now – four weeks, actually two days short of four weeks.

You problem is strange – I never had an issue with ppoeconf – or even a direct Internet Connection.

Try Gutsy – but be quick, otherwise you might want to get Hardy instead after the 24th.

I used to use feisty but had to revert back to XP because I couldn't connect my internet connection. I tried PPPoEconf but Could not get it to work. might be a network card driver problem but couldn't find any solution to it. Well I think I will be ordering a free CD of gutsy in a couple of days and I hope this time it works. I really want to use Ubuntu instead of the M$CRO$OFT OS. can u tell me how long it took to get your CD? suicidalsam's last blog post..Dell Vostro 1500 Laptop at $499
