Bing now powering Yahoo!
Talk about taking a step backwards!
Yahoo is now powered by Bing. I have used bing, and let me tell you I do not think much of it. Your mileage may vary, but Google is the king of search, and Yahoo was always a good second.
Ho hum, read about it at NEWS24.com nonetheless.
Facebook now ‘worth $33 billion’
Facebook is now worth billions. It is a little less than I expected, but shares are going at $76 each before the expected public listing which might be ‘before 2011.’
Okay so it is worth more than Yahoo and even EBay.
The Daily Telegraph has the story.
Oh, and if you look to the right you will see our SaGeek Facebook Page Likebox. Join in!
Intel and Nokia focus on 3D mobile tech

Today is the 19th Birthday of Linux
Yes, the Kernel turns 19 today. On 25 Aug 1991 Linus realised he had written an Operating system.
Also of interest, this year Sonic the hedgehog turned 19, and Debian turned 17 THIS MONTH.
Tip of the hat to you all.
