All techs take note – Today marks the 20th anniversary of the first major network outage that hit the precursor to the Internet – ARPANET.
Hold on to your hats folks – It was caused by a software bug.

Virgin America Goes Google
Shortly after the London Stock Exchange dumps Microsoft products, Virgin America dumps MS Exchange to start using Google Apps for their email.
They expect the move to Google to cut their email costs in half over a year.

Wow. South Africans should rejoice – Industry leaders are predicting a 20 to 25% drop in prices for Internet Access in the next 12 months.
I wonder if that cost reduction will filter down to the end user…
